Emilie Dykstra Goris BSN RN
PhD Student, College of Nursing
Emilie is a Registered Nurse and third year PhD student in the College of Nursing. Her primary research interests are genetics of Alzheimer disease. Her personal interests include spending time with her husband and puppy, being outdoors, and cooking. Emilie became involved in CoSAGE when she started graduate school in the Fall of 2009. She has been a graduate research assistant with Dr. Debra Schutte. She joined CoSAGE because, “I believe in the mission of CoSAGE and see great potential for the project. It may also provide a platform for my dissertation research.” Emilie has been honored as a 2011-2013 John. A Hartford Foundation Predoctoral Scholar through BAGNC (Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity).
